In order to meet the demand for places, the school needed to double its capacity in the space of a year while remaining fully operational for the existing 300 pupils enrolled.

LMC Drylining were proud to have been involved with the construction of an expansion for a very well renowned primary school in London. The initial siteworks involved the demolition of a nursery and substation on site before preparing the foundations for the building. A key challenge was to complete the project with minimal intrusion on the surrounding residential area. In order to overcome this, a series of meetings with local residents’ associations formed a key part of the planning stages.

This modular development had an exceptionally fast-paced construction plan.LMC were best suited to proactively carry out all internal and external fitouts including all partitions, ceilings as well as new Poly carbonate panels to the exterior of the new building.
